UPVC Column Pipes for Boreholes & Submersible Pumps in Cyprus

Captain Pipes UPVC (PVC-U) column / riser pipes in 3m (10ft) lengths for boreholes and submersible pump installations. O-ring leak-proof joints and an in-built locking system for fast, reliable assembly. Stock from Larnaca with delivery across Cyprus.

High Pressure & Deep Bore Capability

Built for demanding borehole installations, with size/grade options rated for deep sets up to 1,500 ft and hydrostatic pressure up to 45 bar (according to manufacturer specifications).

Leak-Proof Joints & Secure Locking

Square threads and O-ring sealing for reliable joints, plus an in-built locking system designed to prevent thread slippage during assembly and dismantling.

Long service life in aggressive water

UPVC doesn’t rust. In salty/sandy or aggressive water, it’s often chosen specifically to avoid fast corrosion issues seen with steel pipes.

Competitive price, professional quality

Chosen by many professionals in Cyprus for their reliable couplings, long life and competitive pricing.

Why choose UPVC Column Pipes instead of galvanized / steel?

As the Cyprus distributor for Captain Pipes (India), we supply UPVC borehole pipes built specifically for submersible pump installations. These pipes are widely used as drop/riser pipes and are designed to be strong, durable, and practical for installation, especially in irrigation, storage tank, and demanding borehole applications.

Across Cyprus, borehole water quality can vary a lot, and many installers report more challenging conditions in recent years (salinity, sand, and general variation). In these conditions, steel/galvanized can corrode quickly depending on the water, leading to downtime, difficult pull-outs, and repeat costs. UPVC is often chosen because it doesn’t rust and is suited for salty/sandy aggressive water, making it a sensible long-life option for professional installations.

Captain Pipes also focus on joint reliability: CNC-machined square threads for load holding, O-ring sealing for leak-proof joints, and an in-built automatic locking system that helps prevent thread slippage during assembly/dismantling.

Do you deliver across Cyprus?

Yes. Delivery is available from Larnaca. Cost depends on order size and location.

It depends on the grade and diameter. According to the manufacturer’s technical table, selected grades can be suitable up to 1500 ft (we can share the written spec for your size).

Send (1) depth, (2) pipe diameter, and (3) delivery location (if delivery is needed).

We actively stock 1.25″, 1.5″, 2″, 2.5″, and 3″. Other sizes are available on order basis.

These are fast-moving imported products and costs can move with international market conditions (raw material/plastic pricing, shipping and exchange rates). We don’t want to show an outdated number online. Message us and we’ll confirm current availability and give you our best price for the size/grade you need.

You typically need Top and Bottom adaptors to connect the UPVC pipe threads to standard fittings. We also supply reducers / expanders when you need to drop or increase size during the installation. For installers, we can also provide tools such as belts and a lowering jig (sigri) depending on the job. Tell us your diameter and setup, and we’ll list what you need.
