Our Generator Range

We supply diesel generator sets in Cyprus for a wide range of applications, from smaller sets for farms, homes and shops to larger systems for hotels, factories, manufacturing plants and critical facilities.

We keep popular sizes in stock in Larnaca and can also supply larger sets on request. Depending on the application and specification, we can offer generator sets with engines such as Lister Petter, Cummins, Perkins, Deutz, Iveco and other supported options.

We are the exclusive Cyprus distributor for Tide Power generator sets in our supplied range, and we also supply larger industrial generator solutions to order, with the same focus on clear specifications and support after the sale. We also support spare parts and servicing items for the generator sets we supply, and we can advise on alternator options and control panel integration.

Choosing the right generator

Generator sizing is not only about total kW. The correct kVA depends heavily on motor starting currents, especially on farms and worksites with borehole pumps, pressure pumps, refrigeration, compressors and workshop equipment. An undersized generator can cause nuisance trips, voltage dips and hard starting under load.

For an accurate recommendation and quote, we typically need the phase requirement (single or three phase), the main loads, and whether the generator is for standby backup or more regular operation. If ATS or distribution work is required, we can coordinate with your electrician so the installation is safe and suitable for the site.

To size quickly, send us:

  • Total load (kW/kVA) and whether loads start together
  • Largest motor load (pump/compressor) and starting method
  • Single phase or three phase requirement
  • Standby backup or longer runtime use
  • Silent canopy or open-frame preference
  • Location and any delivery/unloading constraints

Understanding PRP, ESP and LTP ratings

Generator sets are often published with more than one power rating, depending on how they are intended to be used. The same generator can show a higher number on paper if you look at standby ratings, which is why it is important to compare like-for-like.

  • Prime Power (PRP): Intended for regular operation with variable load and unlimited annual runtime.
  • Emergency Standby Power (ESP): Intended strictly for emergency backup during utility failure, limited annual runtime.
  • Limited Time Running Power (LTP): Intended for planned, limited annual runtime, usually for constant loads or peak shaving type use.

Why it matters: Sizing a generator based on ESP or LTP for a regular use application can mean running outside the intended rating conditions, which can reduce long-term reliability.

Current Stock

Some suppliers advertise generators mainly using the standby rating (ESP) because the number is higher on paper. We list our generators with Prime Power (PRP) as the main rating so you can compare sizes fairly and understand what the generator is designed to handle for regular use. Where applicable, we can also provide standby ratings for reference.

Common Questions:

What size generator do I need?

It depends on total load and the largest starting load (pumps, refrigeration, compressors). Send us your load list and whether you need single or three phase, and we will recommend a suitable kVA.

Prime (PRP) is intended for longer runtime and regular operation. Standby (ESP) is for emergency backup use. We will recommend the correct rating based on your application.

Yes. Silent enclosed generator sets are commonly chosen where noise matters or where a cleaner installation is preferred.

Yes. We can supply ATS solutions or work with your electrician to integrate the generator safely with your distribution.

Homes and small shops are usually single phase. Farms and sites with larger motors often require three phase. If you are not sure, tell us what equipment you will run.
